Firefighter shot dead in Birgunj



BIRGUNJ: A firefighter employed at Birgunj Metropolitan Office Bunilal Chaurasiya has been shot dead. Chaurasiya’s dead body was found wrapped in cloth and plastic near a pond on Saturday.

He had gone out of his home on Thursday evening. According to police, Chaurasiya had gone to the house of one Deepak Kishor Agrawal and then went missing.

SP Somendra Singh Rathore said that a preliminary investigation shows that Chaurasiya was killed over the financial transactions and personal enmity. Police are investigating the case by arresting Deepak and his wife Nidi Agrawal.

Chaurasiya had received three bullets in his chest, head, and stomach.
