China not forcing ‘Xi Jinpingism’ in Nepal: Chinese envoy Hou



KATHMANDU: Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Hou Yanqi has said that China won’t interfere in internal matters of any country.

Speaking at a program ‘Xi Jinping thought: Building a community with a shared future for mankind,’ organized by China Study Center in Kathmandu, she said that thoughts and principles of Chinese President Xi have been already internationalized.

“His thoughts and principles have been already internationalized. China neither forced any thought and principle to any country in the past and will nor do in the coming days,” she said, “China is also against any interference in internal matters of any country.”

Speaking at the program, envoy Hou said the Communist parties of Nepal and China were engaged in political discourse and it should not be taken otherwise.

Saying that China and Nepal have a strong bilateral tie, the discussions between the countries are focused on economic and social issues.
