NRB publishes today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for Saturday.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 151.88 and the selling rate at Rs 152.48.

Similarly, the buying rate of one euro has been fixed at Rs 175.80 and the selling rate at Rs 176.50. The buying rate of one UK pound sterling stands at Rs 203.73 and the selling rate at Rs 204.54, while the buying rate of one Swiss franc has been set at Rs 190.78 and the selling rate at Rs 191.53.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar is Rs 106.92 and the selling rate is Rs 107.35. Likewise, the buying rate of one Canadian dollar has been fixed at Rs 108.58 and the selling rate at Rs 109.01, while the buying rate of one Singapore dollar stands at Rs 118.30 and the selling rate at Rs 118.77.

For Asian currencies, the buying rate of 10 Japanese yen has been fixed at Rs 9.48 and the selling rate at Rs 9.52. The buying rate of one Chinese yuan is Rs 22.46 and the selling rate is Rs 22.55. Similarly, the buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal has been set at Rs 40.47 and the selling rate at Rs 40.63, while the buying rate of one Qatari riyal stands at Rs 41.66 and the selling rate at Rs 41.82.

The buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160, while the selling rate has been set at Rs 160.15.

NRB stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. The rates determined by commercial banks may vary, and updated exchange rates are available on the central bank’s website.
