NA approves Appropriation Bill

KATHMANDU: The National Assembly (NA) approved on Wednesday the proposal seeking deliberations on Appropriation Bill-2076.

Minister for Finance Dr Yuba Raj Khatiwada has presented the Bill at today’s session of the National Assembly.

Responding to queries raised by parliamentarians, Minister Khatiwada said the incumbent government had a capacity to spend Rs 1.53 trillion budget for the new fiscal year 2019/20.

Meanwhile, Finance Minister Khatiwada will respond to queries on the Bill from June 30 to July 9, 2019. The NA’s next meeting is slated for June 30 at 11 am.
