Cyber hackers rob bank of Rs 20 mln; 3 held



KATHMANDU: Cyber hackers have robbed the Agriculture Development Bank of Rs 20 million. Police have arrested three people in connection with the robbery from Kathmandu.

They were arrested while they were trying to rob the money through cyber hacking. Police said they are investigating the case and have kept the names of the arrested secret, said Shyam Gyawalii, spokesperson of the Metropolitan Police Range Office, Kamal Pokhari.

Earlier, police had arrested one French and five Chinese nationals for their involvement in cyber hacking.

They were held while they were stealing Rs 20 million from various banks.  Two Chinese nationals involved in the case are still at large.
