When PM Oli’s congratulatory message meant for British PM went astray …

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has become a figure of fun on social networking sites after his congratulatory message meant for newly elected British Prime Minister Boris Johnson went astray.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli sent the messages through a wrong twitter handle presuming that it was Boris Johnson’s. The messages were deleted 10 minutes after having known that it was the wrong twitter handle.

PM Oli (@kpsharmaoli) tweeted the congratulatory messages mentioning twitter handle @BorisJonson. This twitter handle has followed two people while eight people have followed it.

The verified twitter account of newly elected British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is @BorisJohnson which is followed by over 750,000.

Social media users have made a fun of the prime minister saying that his secretariat failed to notice even such a small matter.
