Talks with Biplav outfit possible if it accepts constitution:  Minister Banskota

KATHMANDU: Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gokul Prasad Banskota has said that the dialogue with Netra Bikram Chand alias Biplav-led outfit is possible if it accepts the constitution.

While releasing the decisions of the recent Cabinet meeting in a press meet at the Ministry today, Minister Banskota, also the spokesperson of the government, asked the party to abandon the violence and respect people’s will for peace and prosperity.

In a query of media persons regarding the Biplav led outfit’s proposal for talks, Minister Banskota said that the government would be ready to hold talks with the party if it came in the framework of the constitution.
