KATHMANDU: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) under the Federal Parliament is being held today at 11:00 am at Singha Durbar, according to the Federal Parliament Secretariat.
As per the agenda, ministers of the concerned ministries will respond to queries and concerns raised by lawmakers during deliberations on the Appropriation Bill for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/84, presented by Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle.
Today’s session includes responses to discussions on the budgets of the Ministry of Youth, Labour and Employment; Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies; Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development; Ministry of Forests and Environment; Ministry of Communications and Information Technology; and Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation.
Similarly, the concerned ministers will answer questions raised during discussions on the budgets of the Ministry of Health and Population; Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation; Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration; and the Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens.
The House is expected to continue its ministry-wise deliberations on the annual budget during the session.
