PM Oli reaches Doha on way to Azerbaijan

DOHA: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli arrived here on Thursday on his way to Baku, the capital of the Republic of Azerbaijan, leading a 21-member Nepali delegation to the 18thSummit of Heads of State and Government of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM).

The Summit is being held in Baku from 25 to 26 of October 2019. Prime Minister Oli is being accompanied by his spouse Radhika Shakya.

Upon arrival at the Hamad International Airport, Prime Minister Oli and his delegation were received by Nepali Ambassador to Qatar Dr. Narad Nath Bharadwaj Wagley and senior officials at the Embassy of Nepal to Qatar.

Following around two hours of transit, Prime Minister Oli and the Nepali delegation will leave Doha for Baku at 20:00 hrs Nepali Standard Time. Baku is 2 hrs 50 mins flight from Doha.
