Lawmaker Basnet says government against criminalization in politics



BHAKTAPUR: Lawmaker Mahesh Basnet has said that the incumbent government has initiated a campaign against criminalization within politics.

Stating that politics should be on the right track to protect the country from being spoiled, Basnet said the government was endeavoring to ensure that politics remains away from being criminalized.

Speaking at a program in Duwakot of Bhaktapur today, he also stated that the government has been working towards getting rid of criminal activities in the society and to establish peace and bring prosperity.
