Kavre district secretary of Biplav outfit arrested



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested Kavre district secretary of Nepal Communist Party led by Netra Bikram Chand Suntali Thoker.

A police squad deployed from District Police Office, Kavre arrested Suntali from her own house based at Shankhu in Panauti Municipality-9 on Wednesday night, confirmed SP Jayaraj Sapkota.

“Acting on a tip-off, we arrested Suntali from her own house,” said Sapkota.

It is learnt that Suntali has recently joined the outlawed Biplav outfit.

Earlier, on March 23, 2019, DPO, Kavre had arrested nine Biplav cadres including commander Hemanta Prakash Oli alias Sudharshan from Khanikhola Rural Municipality-7 during a search operation.
