Citizen Help Desk established to facilitate Dashian travelers



KATHMANDU: The government has established ‘Citizen Help Desk’ at different places to resolve any problem related to bus ticket booking.

According to the Department of Transport Management, the citizen help desk has been established at the place where ticket counters are located in Kathmandu Valley.

Bus ticket booking has opened from Tuesday in advance and the citizen help desk was also established at New Bus Park on the same day, said Director General of the Department, Gogan Bahadur Hamal.

Similarly, citizen help desks have been established at Kalanki and Balkhu today. According to the Department, it has set a plan to establish a citizen help desk at 14 more places from Wednesday.

Though the citizen help desks have been established with an objective of addressing the passengers’ complaints and help them on the spot, no complaints have been received yet.
