DAMAULI: The Pandhare users committee has donated one hundred thousand rupees for the development of the Pandhare temple in ward no. 1 of Myagde rural municipality. Chair of the Committee Yagya Prasad Khanal handed over the cheque to chair of the temple preservation committee Kajiman Shrestha at a function held here on Friday.
The need for infrastructure development of the temple has been felt after it got publicity through the media and influx of visitors, said chair of ward no. 5 of Byas municipality, Mohan Kumar Shrestha. A pond is being constructed within the premises of the temple as an added attraction for the visitors, the preservation committee chair Shrestha said.
Financial support is also being received from various government officers including the hydro and watershed management office and division forest office.
