Former Speaker Nembang stresses on honesty in politics

KATHMANDU: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) leader and former Speaker Subash Nembang has stressed on honesty in politics.

Speaking at a program in the capital on Wednesday, he said that the party leaders should have clear high social ideals, ideological orientation, and honesty.

Likewise, Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Kamal Thapa expressed worry about the criminalization in politics of late.

Thapa said as incidences such as murder and violence have been on a rise in recent times for the sake of power.

He urged the government to be more serious to control such cases.
