KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) leader and Former Minister Ram Krishna Tamrakar passed away in course of treatment on Tuesday.

Tamrakar, who was suffering from cancer and pneumonia since long, breathed his last at around 3 pm today.

He had served as a central treasurer of the party and was elected to the Parliament from Rupandehi-2 in the elections in 2048 and 2056 BS. Tamrakar had served as minister for health and minister for industry and commerce.
