PARBAT: An elderly person died when landslide buried his house at Kushma Municipality-2 of Parbat district on Wednesday night.
The deceased has been identified as Rem Bahadur Chalise, 70. Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Parbat, Shyamu Aryal, said that the landslide buried his house when he was sleeping.
Security personnel from Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and locals found Chalise’s body buried in the landslide.
Chalise’s wife was out of the house during the incident time. Police said that the landslide had completely buried the house as well as swept away some parts.
