Tara Air aircraft makes emergency landing



KATHMANDU: A Tara Air aircraft has made an emergency landing at Manthali airport in Ramechhap district on Monday morning.

According to Police Inspector Sheikh Adalata of District Police Office, Ramechhap, the Lukla-bound Dornier aircraft, with call sing 9N-AKK, made an emergency landing at Manthali airport after it could not land at Lukla airport due to bad weather.

The aircraft skidded off  the runway and landed at the nearby lawn. However, the passengers are safe. A total of 14 passengers were on-board the aircraft.
