If you have the guts, face me in next election: PM Oli

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister K P Oli, in his usual ironic gesture, has urged ‘antagonists’ to wait for another few years to face him in the new election.

“I will still be active for another decade or so,” a confident Prime Minister Oli said in a meeting held at the Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday.

He refuted rumors that his health was deteriorating. PM, however, said he was flying to Singapore on Thursday for his health check-up.

“I am shocked at the way my competitors are waiting for my death,” he said adding, “In fact, they should face me rather than running away.” Without elaborating, he also said that the next parliamentary election would be tough enough. “Be prepared to face it,” he warned.
