KANCHANPUR: Treasurer of Nepali Congress Kanchanpur-1 Tek Bahadur Saud has defected to ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP).
Saud, former chairman of Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), Belauri Chapter, said he joined the NCP due to its effective working style.
Standing Committee member of the NCP Lekha Raj Bhatta welcomed him to the party by offering tika on Tuesday night.
