BAITADI: A person has died while nine others have taken ill after consuming dead chicken in the district.
The deceased has been identified as 15-year-old Pushpa Parki of Paurchaudi Municipality-2. According to District Police Office, Baitadi, all the family members had consumed dead chicken on Saturday evening.
Pushpa, who fell ill after eating dead chicken, died on Tuesday evening in her own house.
Parwati Parki, 70, Ganga Parki, 33, Rakesh Parki, 8, Janaki Parki, 35, Manoj Parki, 12, Ramesh Parki, 10, Bhuwan Parki, 6, Rupesh Parki, 6, and Sapana Parki, 4, have fallen ill.
