Rabi Lamichhane remanded to five more days in custody



CHITWAN: The Chitwan District Court on Tuesday remanded three persons including journalist Rabi Lamichhane accused of abetting a suicide to five more days in judicial custody.

The court extended the remand of journalists Lamichhane and Yuba Raj Kandel and Ashmita Karki following a hearing today.

They have been accused of abetting the alleged suicide by journalist Shalikram Pudasaini.

Police on Monday had recorded their statements at the District Attorney Office. Based on the statements, police had sought an extension of the judicial custody of the accused.
