Biker critically injured after being hit by bus



KATHMANDU: A motorcyclist sustained critical injuries after being hit by a bus, Ba 4 Kha 9670, at Jarankhu in Balaju on Thursday morning.

The injured has been identified as 17-year-old Sujan Banjara of Manamaiju, Balaju. He has received a deep cut in his head and is undergoing treatment Grandey International Hospital, said Balaju Metropolitan Police Range Office, Balaju.

The accident took place when the bus coming to Ratnapark from Nuwakot hit the motorcycle, Ba 82 Pa 4593 at Jarankhu this morning.

Police have arrested bus driver Rajendra Sarki, 31, Nujwakt disrict,  currently staying in Shivamandir, Balau and investing the case. Locals have vandalized the bus.
