Foreign currency exchange rates fixed for today



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today.

According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 153.81 and the selling rate at Rs 154.41. The buying rate for one euro is Rs 173.09 and the selling rate is Rs 173.77, while the buying rate for one pound sterling is Rs 203.68 and the selling rate is Rs 204.48. The Swiss franc has been fixed at Rs 185.59 for buying and Rs 186.32 for selling.

Similarly, the buying rate for one Australian dollar is Rs 106.97 and the selling rate is Rs 107.39. One Canadian dollar is priced at Rs 107.93 for buying and Rs 108.35 for selling, while one Singapore dollar is fixed at Rs 120.22 for buying and Rs 120.69 for selling.

The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.74 and the selling rate is Rs 9.78. One Chinese yuan has been fixed at Rs 22.94 for buying and Rs 23.03 for selling. The buying and selling rates for one Saudi Arabian riyal are Rs 40.97 and Rs 41.13, respectively, while those for one Qatari riyal are Rs 42.22 and Rs 42.38.

According to the central bank, one Thai baht has been fixed at Rs 4.58 for buying and Rs 4.60 for selling. One UAE dirham is Rs 41.88 for buying and Rs 42.04 for selling, while one Malaysian ringgit is Rs 37.66 for buying and Rs 37.80 for selling.

The buying rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 11.45 and the selling rate is Rs 11.50. One Swedish krona has been fixed at Rs 15.31 for buying and Rs 15.37 for selling, while one Danish krone is Rs 23.16 for buying and Rs 23.25 for selling.

The buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar is Rs 19.60 and the selling rate is Rs 19.68. One Kuwaiti dinar has been fixed at Rs 499.46 for buying and Rs 501.41 for selling, while one Bahraini dinar is Rs 407.96 for buying and Rs 409.55 for selling.

Similarly, one Omani rial has been fixed at Rs 399.51 for buying and Rs 401.07 for selling. The buying and selling rates for 100 Indian rupees have been fixed at Rs 160.

Nepal Rastra Bank said the exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. It added that exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ from the central bank’s rates and that updated rates are available on its website.
