Solar lights being installed from Manohara to Radhe Radhe

MADHYAPUR THIMI: Installation of solar lamps have begun from Jadibuti Monohara Bridge to Radhe Radhe of Madhyapur Thimi along the Araniko Highway.

The installation, supported by Madhyapur Thimi Municipality, is aimed at supporting the slogan for ‘Bright, Clean and Green Bhaktapur’.

The area from Manohara to Radhe Radhe will have 421 solar lights, according to the Madhyapur Thimi Municipality.

The cost of installing a solar light comes to around Rs 100 thousand, the municipality said.

The segment will also see traffic islands and a direction board aimed at minimizing road accidents.
