Lohani urges government to be responsible



KATHMANDU: Dr Prakash Chandra Lohani, Chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (Unified) has urged the government to be responsible towards fulfilling people’s aspirations.

In a message of best wishes on the occasion of the 69th Democracy Day today, he wished all the Nepalis at home and abroad peace, prosperity and happiness. Highlighting the significance of Democracy Day he said that this day marks the establishment of a ruling system based on democratic norms and values in the country.

Lohani highlighted the need to guarantee rule of law, periodic election, independent judiciary, total press freedom and the human rights and promotion of these special issues, protecting people’s rights, in a press note.

Likewise, Another Chairman of the party Pashupati SJB Rana said the party is all committed to people’s rights and that the government should ensure citizen’s human rights, social justice for them, their security; and good governance in the democratic system.
