NRB issues treasury bills worth Rs 2 bn



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) on Monday issued treasury bills worth Rs 2 billion, a report in The Rising Nepal has said.

According to the report,  the Public Debt Management Department under the central bank issued the 91-day Treasury bills in order to obtain internal debt on behalf of the government.

The NRB sold the 91-day Treasury bills worth Rs 2 billion through an action.
