Qatari Ambassador calls on Minister Gurung



KATHMANDU: Qatari Ambassador Yousuf Bin Mohamed Ahmed Al Hail paid a courtesy call on Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizen, Parbat Gurung.

The meeting was held at the latter’s office in Singha Durbar on Wednesday.

Issues of bilateral relations and mutual interest featured during the meeting.

Minister Gurung said women’s entrepreneurship in Nepal could be promoted with the cooperation of the Qatari government.

Nepal and Qatar could work together for skill development of Nepali women and expansion of the market to the goods produced by women entrepreneurs.

Ambassador Hail said congratulated Gurung for assuming the ministry with tremendous importance. Qatar government had also prioritized the development of the issues relating to women and children, he added.

He also reminded that Nepali youths had contributed much to Qatar’s development.
