KATHMANDU: A meeting of the Central Working Committee of the main opposition Nepali Congress has been facing impasse due to the disgruntled faction led by senior leader Ram Chandra Paudel.

Leaders of Paudel-led faction have been boycotting the CWC meeting called by the establishment side for the last few days over the intra-party row.

Today’s CWC meeting is also on hold as the leaders loyal to Paudel are not in a mood to take part in it.

However, NC Vice President Bimalendra Nidhi, who is close to President Sher Bahadur Deuba, said the establishment side is making preparations to hold the meeting even without the presence of the disgruntled faction.
