CHITWAN: A person who sustained injuries in a road accident few days ago in the district has died in the course of treatment.
Suraj Poudel, 35, of Ratnanagar Municipality-10 in Chitwan district, was rushed to the Chitwan-based Old Medical College after his motorcycle he was riding was hit by a bus, the District Police Office, Chitwan said.T
The bus involved in the accident turned turtle in a drain after knocking down a motorcycle in the district.
The bus (Na 1 Cha 9412) coming to Padampur from Ratnanagar Municiplaity-10 in the district suddenly lost its control and hit the motorcycle (Ba 55 Pa 7414) coming from Chitrasari to Sauraha.
Police said they have impounded bus driver as well as the motorcyclist and is investigating the case.
