Govt endorses labor draft agreement to be signed with Oman



KATHMANDU: The Council of Ministers has endorsed a draft of the labor agreement due to be signed with Oman.

According to the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security, the draft would be signed soon between the two countries.

Oman remains one of the major destinations for Nepali migrant workers.

Joint Secretary at the ministry Ram Prasad Ghimire informed that Oman’s Minister of Manpower, Abdullah bin Nasser bin Abdullah al Bakri is visiting Nepal soon to sign the agreement.

According to Ghimire, the ministry has already sent an invitation to Oman’s minister.
