NCP top leaders discuss cabinet reshuffle at Khumaltar

KATHMANDU: With Prime Minister KP Oli  gearing up for the cabinet reshuffle, top leaders of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) have held discussions at Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s residence in Khumaltar on Monday morning.

The cabinet is being reshuffled today following a secretariat meeting held in Baluwatar on Sunday that gave consent to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to this effect, said Baluwatar sources.

“Two former prime ministers held talks for one and a half hours,” said Khumaltar sources, adding, “The meeting participated by ministers and  secretaries from various ministries held talks on various development models, latest political developments and cabinet reshuffle.”

Meanwhile, Prime Minister KP Oli also held informal discussions with the leaders close to him.

However, who is to be inducted in the new cabinet is not yet finalized. It is learnt that Oli will take a final call regarding this issue after the formal inauguration of the Trishuli 3 ‘A’.
