KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has stated that there are chances of heavy rainfall at one or two places of the eastern and western regions on Sunday.
In a weather bulletin issued for today, the met office predicts that the weather will remain generally cloudy through the county.
“Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is possible at many places of the western region and at some places of the eastern and central regions. There are chances of heavy rainfall at one or two places of the eastern and western regions,” MFD said.
At night, there are chances of heavy rainfall at one or two places of the hilly regions.
Axis of the monsoon trough is located at an average place, the met office said.
