KATHMANDU: Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC), the national flag carrier, has won the 2019 ‘Most Popular Airlines Award’.
The awarded has been present to the NAC by the Airlines Critics and Bloggers Association for its quality service.
NAC Executive Chairman Madan Kharel received the award amidst a program organized by the Association in Kathmandu on Tuesday.
According to TPS Grover, Chairperson of the Association, the award was decided to be presented to NAC based on comments by over 450 airlines bloggers, passengers, commentators, and aviation journalists.
The Association had also prepared video clips of several kinds of services given by NAC during its international flights.
The award was decided on the basis of public votes, according to the Association.
Prior to this, Thai Air and Fin Air had bagged the award.
