DANG: Several industries in Dang district are found to have been under operation without registering.
According to the District Statistics Office Dang, out of the 14,421 industries currently in operation in the district, only 7,903 have been registered.
Office Chief Tulsiram Pokhrel informed that some 6,518 small industries have been currently operating without registering with the district industries registrar’s office.
Pokhrel said that they have collected statistics on the industries operating in the district.
“Among these industries, several of them are operating without getting registered,” he said, adding, “They would be brought under the process.”
Some five thousand 219 industries are found operating in Ghorahi and among them 2,139 are not registered.
Likewise, 3,688 industries are in operation in Tulasipur Sub-metropolitan City, and among them, only 1,977 have been registered. The rest 1,711 have not been registered.
Similarly, out of the 1,343 industries operating in Lamahi Municipality, only 762 are registered while 581 have not been registered, according to Pokhrel.
