DANG: Two persons were killed when a motorcycle they were riding was hit by a truck at Lamahi Municipality-9, Rihar on Saturday.
The deceased are Binod Basnet, 42, of Ghorahi Sub Metropolitan City-5, Dharna and Ramesh Basnet, 45, of Nepalgunj Sub Metropolitan City-4, Karkado.
The mishap happened when the motorcycle, Ra 1 Pa 1131, heading to west from Rihar was hit by the truck, Na 6 Kha 3403, heading to the opposite direction.
Binod died while receiving treatment at Rapti Academy of Health Sciences and Ramesh at Lamahi Hospital.
Police said that they have impounded the truck while the driver is at large.
