DHANUSA: Police have arrested an Indian national with 15 kilograms silver on Saturday afternoon.
Bandhu Kumar Sinha, 27, of Madhubani, India was arrested by a team of Armed Police Force during a security check at Aaurahi-2, Deuri of the district.
Sinha was arrested while he was heading to India riding a motorcycle with Nepali registration number, Ja 8 Pa 9235. The consignment was concealed below the fuel tank of the motorcycle.
The seized silver fetches over Rs one million in the domestic market. He has been handed over to Janakpur Customs Office for further investigation.
