Bajhang jeep accident: Identity of deceased ascertained

BAJHANG: Identity of all the nine people who died in the Bajhang jeep accident has been ascertained.

They are Kalak Badhaur Khadka of Masta rural municipality and his son,  Jundhara Khadka, Nain Khadka, Dhauli Khadka, Juna Khadka, Bhakta Dwal, Laxmi Dwal and jeep driver Surendra Thapa, said Sub-Inspector at the Ward Police Office, Chainpur, Mahananda Joshi.

The jeep, Se 1 Ja 1072, heading towards Masta rural municipality from Dungri in Bajhang district met with an accident at Masta-1 earlier this afternoon.

A local Ram Chandra Rokaya said that preparation was underway to airlift the four injured to Nepalgunj for treatment.

A helicopter has not been able to fly due to bad weather.
