SUNSARI: Sunsari District Court on Monday remanded Krishna Bahadur Giri alias Siddhababa accused of raping his follower to seven more days in judicial custody.

The court gave police seven days to conclude the investigation and file a case against him.

He was taken to the court from the hospital and has been readmitted to the hospital. He has been undergoing treatment at the Biratnagar-based Birat Medical College.

Giri has been accused of raping his follower at his ashram in Chatara of Sunsari district on October 21.
