Three accused made public



GALKOT: The District Police Office Baglung on Friday made public three people arrested on different charges.

Among them, Masane Kami, 61, has been alleged of killing his elder brother Bhan Bahadur Kami, 64, and his (latter’s) wife Bima Kami, 60.

The couple was hacked to death on the night of August 10. The accused had attacked the two with a sharp weapon following a family dispute.

According to Office Chief Superintendent of Police Nawaraj Bhatta, police could reach the incident site on time which made the identification of the accused easier.

Similarly, Patiman Sarki, 54, was apprehended in the night of August 14 on the charge of raping a 15-year-old girl of Baglung municipality-7. He was presented before media today. He admits that he had been inducing the girl for sexual exploitation for a year.

Likewise, Sudin Chhantal, 18, of Tarakhola rural municipality-1 and currently living in rent at Baglung municipality-2 has been arrested on the charge of his involvement in drug abuse and smuggling. He was arrested on August 12.
