Govt suspends movable property of 148 cooperatives

KATHMANDU: Youth and Small Entrepreneur Self-Employment Fund (YSEF) has started suspending movable property of 148 cooperatives for their failure to pay back the loan on time.

The YSEF had dispatched a circulation across the country to suspend movable property of the 148 financial institutes after they failed to pay back the loan taken on a subsidized interest rate. Of the 148 cooperatives,  the office buildings of 48 cooperatives have been suspended.

The process to suspend the movable properties of the rest is underway, according to a news in Nagarik daily.
