Ministry cuts farmers’ subsidy to procures vehicles

SURKHET: The Ministry of Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperative of Karnali Province  has procured vehicles by cutting subsidy meant for the farmers.

With already four vehicles, the ministry has again initiated process to buy additional seven vehicles.

According to Nagarik daily,  the Karnanli government has allocated Rs 34 million to this end.

The ministry is also preparing to procure one vehicle each for Agriculture Minister and Secretary with the budget allocated for various topics.
