PM Oli condoles Shrestha’s death

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said he is profoundly saddened by the death of the senior communist leader and lawyer Janak Man Shrestha.

In a condolence message on Saturday, the prime minister paid tributes to the late Shrestha and extended deep condolences to the members of the bereaved family and relatives.

PM Oli has stated that the country has lost a development loving campaigner and an adept lawyer n his demise.

He also stated that Shrestha, who involved in politics from a small age and elected the first mayor of Kathmandu Municipality, also earned fame in the judicial sector.

Shrestha passed away on Friday at the age of 92.
