Dhanusha bombing: Dead body of Police Inspector brought to Kathmandu

DHANUSHA: The dead body of Police Inspector Amir Kumar Dahal killed in a bomb explosion here on Friday has been taken to Kathmandu.

DSP Dundiraj Neupane at Area Police Office, Dharan said the dead body was taken to Kathmandu through a chopper of the Nepal Army.

Dahal, who was seriously injured in the explosion at Chhireshwarnath Municipality-5, Mahendra Nagar, died while being taken to Dharan for treatment.

The postmortem on the dead body was performed at the Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences.

Dahal had shifted to Gokarneshwor Municipality-8 in Kathmandu from Sankhuwasabha district.

Three persons including Police Inspector Dahal were killed in the explosion on Friday midnight.
