PM should hold talks with India to settle border issue: Poudel

BHADRAPUR: Nepali Congress senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel has suggested that Prime Minister KP Oli himself should hold talks with India for resolving the border issue.

Saying that the border dispute was not going to be finalized from the secretary-level meeting, leader Poudel said that the prime minister himself should hold dialogue with the Indian prime minister.

He said the opposition party Nepali Congress was also ready to cooperate to such an initiative if the government moved ahead to resolve the border dispute, adding that the border issue should not be internationalized in hurry without gathering the required evidence.
