KATHMANDU: Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation Padma Aryal on Wednesday signed a performance contract with Gopinath Mainali, the Secretary of Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation.
The Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) has instructed all the ministries and their departments, offices, and agencies to sign a performance contract with the employees from gazette third class (section officer) to first-class (joint-secretary) effective from the current fiscal year.
The performance contract includes goals and objectives of the office, time-frame to achieve the goals, budget, human and non-human resources, means required to achieve the goals, results to be achieved, among others.
This has been aimed at ensuring its subordinate agencies competent, service-oriented and responsible for effective service delivery. (Agencies)
