Former Minister Dhani Ram Paudel no more



KATHMANDU: Former Education Minister Dhaniram Paudel has passed away.

Paudel died of cardiac arrest, confirmed his personal aide Sunil Khadka.

He suffered from heart attack at 6:45 am on Friday at home and breathed his last while being rushed to hospital. His body has been kept at Madi Hospital in Chitwan. He is a central member of the Nepal Communist Party.

NCP Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has expressed sorrow over the demise of Paudel.

“I am deeply shocked by the untimely demise of former Minister Dhaniram Paudel. I would like to express heart-felt condolence to the family and relatives of the deceased and and since tribute to the depart soul,” Dahal said in his official Facebook page.
