Foreign currency exchange rates fixed for today



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 152.90, while the selling rate is Rs 153.50.

The buying rate of one European euro is Rs 178.35 and the selling rate is Rs 179.05. Similarly, the buying rate of one UK pound sterling is Rs 208.46 and the selling rate is Rs 209.28, while the buying rate of one Swiss franc is Rs 190.57 and the selling rate is Rs 191.31.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar is Rs 109.55 and the selling rate is Rs 109.98. Likewise, the buying rate of one Canadian dollar is Rs 110.53 and the selling rate is Rs 110.96, while the buying rate of one Singapore dollar is Rs 120.36 and the selling rate is Rs 120.83.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.60 and the selling rate is Rs 9.64. The buying rate of one Chinese yuan is Rs 22.74 and the selling rate is Rs 22.83. Similarly, the buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs 40.72 and the selling rate is Rs 40.88, while the buying rate of one Qatari riyal is Rs 41.94 and the selling rate is Rs 42.11.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 4.68 and the selling rate is Rs 4.70. The buying rate of one UAE dirham is Rs 41.63 and the selling rate is Rs 41.79, while the buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit is Rs 37.82 and the selling rate is Rs 37.97.

The buying rate of 100 South Korean won is Rs 11.06 and the selling rate is Rs 11.10. The currency name is missing from the source text for the next rate, which is listed as Rs 16.11 for buying and Rs 16.17 for selling. The buying rate of one Danish krone is Rs 23.86 and the selling rate is Rs 23.95.

The buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar is Rs 19.51 and the selling rate is Rs 19.59. Similarly, the buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar is Rs 498.45 and the selling rate is Rs 500.41, while the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar is Rs 405.54 and the selling rate is Rs 407.13.

The buying rate of one Omani rial is Rs 397.16 and the selling rate is Rs 398.72. The buying and selling rates of 100 Indian rupees have been fixed at Rs 160.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. The exchange rates quoted by commercial banks may differ, and updated rates are available on the central bank’s website.
