Lukla air crash: Two dead bodies brought to TUTH for autopsy



KATHMANDU: The dead bodies of two persons killed in a Summit Air crash in Luka Airport on Sunday morning have been brought to the Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) for postmortem.

The dead bodies of co-pilot Sunil Dhungana and Nepal Police Assistant Sub-inspector of Police Ram Bahadur Khadka have been brought to TUTH Forensic Department for postmortem.

A doctor told Khabarhub that they are yet to start autopsy as police are investigating the accident.

At least three persons were killed when the aircraft skidded off the runway and collided with choppers parked at the nearby helipad.
