Chinese Ambassador calls on Khanal



KATHMANDU: Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, Hou Yanqui, on Wednesday called on Nepal Communist Party leader Jhalanath Khanal.

During the meeting held at Khanal’s residence at Dallu, the duo discussed about Nepal-China relations.
On the occasion, Khanal apprised the Chinese ambassador of the long-standing culture of mutual cooperation between the two countries.

Former Prime Minister Khanal also said he was hopeful that Nepal would get assistance on a wider scale from China for its efforts towards the attainment of development and prosperity. He also underscored Nepal’s determination on One-China policy saying that no anti-China activities would be allowed to take place in the Nepal’s soil.

Meanwhile, Chinese Ambassador Hou assured that she would do her best to take the bilateral relations to a new height.
