One killed, three injured in excavator accident



CHARIKOT: A person was killed and three others injured when an excavator met with an accident at Bhimeswor municipality-2, Tokhatal last night.

Raju Thami, 22, of Bigu rural municipality-8 in Dolakha died when the accident occurred on the way to Dolakha Bazaar from Charikot.

The condition of three injured is said to be critical.

The injured are Bijaya Shrestha, 27, of Bigu rural municipality, Suman Thami, 16, of Bhimeswor municipality-2, and excavator driver Rajkumar Thami, 22, of Kalinchowk rural municipality-4.

Shrestha is being treated at Grande Hospital in Kathmandu while the other two are receiving treatment at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, according to police.
